As a major project in Guangdong Province and Shenzhen as well as a key project to crack the power gap in the central and western parts of Shenzhen, Shenzhen Energy Bright Power Base Project is located in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Three H-class gas-steam combined cycle units will be built in the current period, and two H-class gas units will be reserved for long-term expansion, with a total installed capacity of 3,600MW. After the completion of the project, it will effectively enhance the power supply security capacity and system peak load balancing capacity of Guangdong Province, and help the Greater Bay Area achieve the clean energy transformation and dual-carbon goals.
